I have never been able to understand this and I guess it’s one of the quirks of being a perfectionist.

If I love, I love to the fullest

Once I commit, I’m committed

If I know the better thing to do, I do the best.

..this Of Course is to the extent my ability lies – by the help of Gods spirit. I’M NOT PERFECT.

And this may seem like common sense but well…I guess to most people it’s pretty dumb.

I hear this all the time “It’s 2014”. So  I guess since it’s 2014 nobody wants to submit to anything. It’s this whole “have your cake and eat it” mentality that is considered as the wise thing to do now. Cool, I get that.

But to the believers (my fellow brothers and sisters) that are “Lukewarm” (neither Hot or Cold), DO IT BIG OR GO HOME.

I know your “friends” and society see you as cool because everyone likes a christian who isn’t actually really “saved” ; who still thinks and lives like they previously did but one day, you’ll have to Man Up and choose a side.

Here’s why:

• In the long run, the greatest self-deliverance is the deliverance from other people’s opinions.

🚩Galatians 1:10 – Obviously , I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.

•You can’t be saved and not be changed.

🚩Revelation 3:16 – But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth!

•You inhibit your growth and leave chains that need to be addressed and broken in this season (today) till the future.

Freedom comes from obedience.

•Serve God in your youth.

Don’t wait till there’s a tragedy or something goes wrong later in future.

Don’t we all get fed up with those friends who come to you only when they need something?

🚩Ecclesiastes 12:1 – Don’t let the excitement of youth cause you to forget your Creator. Honor him in your youth before you grow old and say, “Life is not pleasant anymore.”

• Don’t let Satan mock you because you are too weak to stand firm.

🚩1 Sam 15:23 – Rebellion is as sinful as witchcraft, and stubbornness as bad as worshiping idols. So because you have rejected the command of the LORD, he has rejected you as king.”

•You don’t want to place a limit on your blessings because of  disobedience.

•Half in and half out doesn’t get you the full pleasure or satisfaction from either side. Think about it. 💭

Fine this is all spiritual talk but even in your career, business, art, craft, and in all of life. You get back what you give out and you can’t be both hardworking and lazy on a project and see it succeed. Once you know yourself and what you want out of life, it becomes easier from then in the decisions you make, associations you keep, places you go, and so on.

And here, I’m talking to believers that have one leg in, one leg out. If you don’t believe & don’t care, I kinda respect you just because you know yourself and have decided to be true to yourself and that, I respect.

But, If you say you love Jesus but consciously hurt him daily, how can I believe you if you say you love me? That kind of love, I do not want.
