The Beauty of Singleness

March 27, 2014

People need to realize that being single is such an amazing gift. I’m not trying to be cliché here, this is the greatest time to develop and invest in yourself; your soul and your life.

In this season focus on God, develop and grow in him profoundly you wait for him to send the right person at the right time.

Matthew 6:33 says – But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (NIV)
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. (NLT).

Grow in your faith because when push comes to shove, that will be all you have. Let God Encounter you. Spend more time with God and in his presence. Separate yourself from anything toxic.

This is the time to confront, face and deal with your fears, any character hitch, repressed emotions, any past guilt, bad habits or anything at all that can hold you back or weigh you down as your go on in life. Grow and Heal.

Find out who you are without the crowd and be true to yourself. Don’t ride the band wagon truck. Stand for who you are and what you believe in and don’t let anybody try to make you feel like you are less than.

Discover your purpose and pursue it daily. Find out your interests and hidden talents. Develop yourself in alignment with your purpose and remember, the closer you are to HIM, the closer you are to your true purpose.

Pick up a book. Travel if you can. Write. Join an organization. Take a cooking, sewing, swimming, or make-up class. Learn something you love or are really intrigued about. Start that business. Do more, talk LESS.

Detox your association. Scale and prioritize who and what exactly you need to focus on your attention on.

If you waste your time rushing into a relationship without really knowing yourself or your divine purpose, it’s a loss.

Let the experience teach you and be real to yourself. Remove all fantasies or notions of the world of what’s “meant to be” but instead, let the Holy Spirit lead you.

Work now – on being the best daughter, wife or mother you’ll one day be. Become a quality asset.

Focus on the Creator and not on the creation.

God bless you for reading!

Love,

A.
